Wine: Cuvée E Croce white by Yves Leccia is quite simply a great Corsican wine. This 100% Vermentino is indeed a racy terroir wine expressing a very nice indulgence on the palate. Notes of white flowers (hawthorn, honeysuckle) blend with aromas of peach, pear and apricot, accompanied by a touch of honey. The whole is carried by a minerality salivating bringing freshness as well as a great class to the whole. Magnificent pairings with fish, shellfish but also poultry, foie gras and cheese can be guessed here! Velvet capable of keeping in the cellar for a good ten years without flinching.

The Estate: Yves Leccia is no longer to present in Corsica. Its committed work for more than 40 years has allowed and still allows to promote the uniqueness of the wines of the island of beauty throughout France and the world. In 2004, the latter left the family estate "Leccia" to create his own property with his wife Sandrine. From 6 hectares in the beginning, the couple now operates 15, all grown organically in the Patrimonio appellation and its surroundings. The soils here are clay-limestone and schist and most of the vineyard is made up of 4 grape varieties: Vermentinu (Rolle) and Biancu Gentile in white as well as Grenache and Niellucciu in red. To taste the wines of Yves Leccia is to embark on a fabulous journey to Corsica and be sure not to be disappointed!
