The wine : The cuvée E Croce blanc by Yves Leccia is quite simply a great Corsican wine. This 100% Vermentino is indeed a distinguished terroir wine expressing a beautiful richness on the palate. Notes of white flowers (hawthorn, honeysuckle) blend with aromas of peach, pear, and apricot, accompanied by a touch of honey. All of this is carried by a mouthwatering minerality bringing freshness as well as great elegance to the whole. Wonderful pairings with fish, shellfish, but also poultry, foie gras, and cheeses can be imagined here! Velvety and able to be cellared for a good ten years without hesitation.

The estate : Yves Leccia needs no introduction in Corsica. His dedicated work for over 40 years has enabled and continues to showcase the uniqueness of the island’s wines throughout France and the world. In 2004, he left the family estate "Leccia" to create his own property with his wife Sandrine. From 6 hectares at the start, the couple now cultivates 15, all organically farmed in the Patrimonio appellation and its surroundings. The terroirs here are clay-limestone and schist, and the majority of the vineyard is made up of 4 grape varieties:  Vermentinu (Rolle) and  Biancu Gentile for whites, as well as Grenache and Niellucciu for reds.
