The wine  : Another huge crush from the Serafini & Vidotto estate! This great Italian Pinot Noir totally won us over during the tasting with its elegant and feminine approach. Tasty notes of cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry and violet are present, transported by an enveloping strcuture of great class. The 18 months of aging in barrels are fully integrated, bringing a delicate roundness to the whole. The acidity is perfectly balanced and the tannins are fluid, making moderation complex for the amateur. A delight of flavor with a heady length . Tasty pairings with white and red meats as well as mature cheeses in perspective...

The estate: Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto  founded the 20-hectare estate in their names in 1986. At that time, few vineyards existed in this very young DOC of  Montello e Colli Asolani, located northwest of the city of Treviso in Veneto. However, they fell in love with the valley, the hills and the woods and banks of the Piave River. The passion of the two men for their region is certainly transmitted in their wines, where the search for finesse and purity magnifies their clay-iron terroir.
