The wine: Flagship vintage of Mas du Novi, Prestigi was immediately a favorite in tasting. Syrah dominates here a blend also composed of Grenache and Mourvèdre aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Intense notes of black fruits (plum, blackberry, cherry) mingle with a delicious spicy touch evolving on garrigue, vanilla, pepper, licorice and even cinnamon. Boasting a beautiful aromatic complexity as well as a nice length, this delicious red wine is accessible from its first years but can also be kept for a decade or more in the cellar if necessary. Wonderful pairings with red meats and grilled meats!

The estate: Composed of 42 hectares of vines cultivated in organic farming, the Mas du Novi is one of the references of its appellation: the Grés de Montpellier. Located at an altitude of 150m, the vineyard is surrounded by forests and scrubland giving a beautiful typicity to the wines. A historic estate whose winemaking history began in the 12th century, Thierry Thomas today perpetuates this magnificent heritage thanks to warm, Mediterranean wines with beautiful aromatic complexity.
