The wine : Flagship cuvée of Mas du Novi, Prestigi was immediately a favorite during tasting. Syrah dominates here in a blend also composed of Grenache and Mourvèdre, aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Intense notes of black fruits (plum, blackberry, cherry) mingle with a delicious spicy  imprint evolving on garrigue, vanilla, pepper, licorice, and even cinnamon. With a beautiful aromatic complexity and lovely length, this delicious red wine is accessible from its early years but can also be cellared for a decade or more if needed. Wonderful pairings with red meats and grilled dishes!

The estate : Composed of 42 hectares of vines cultivated using organic farming, Mas du Novi is one of the benchmarks of its appellation: Grés de Montpellier. Located at an altitude of 150m, the vineyard is surrounded by forests and garrigue, giving the wines a beautiful typicity. A historic estate whose winemaking history began in the 12th century, Thierry Thomas today continues this magnificent heritage with warm, Mediterranean wines featuring beautiful aromatic complexity. A very safe bet from Languedoc!
