The wine : This magnificent Vin Jaune from Jérôme Arnoux was aged in oak barrels under a veil of yeasts for 6 years and 3 months. The result? An impressive aromatic concentration deploying succulent oxidative aromas : curry, walnut, hazelnut, and almond notes unfold deliciously on the palate. Nevertheless, the aromatic palette of this cuvée is not limited to these savory yet usual markers of Vin Jaune. Indeed, one can also perceive warm spicy notes such as cinnamon, clove, vanilla, and pepper during tasting. The body is velvety and buttery and this wine will pair divinely well with poultry and morels, aged Comté cheese, exotic cuisine, or even blue-veined cheeses. Unique, enchanting, and with an incredible aging potential!

The estate : Jérôme Arnoux is a well-known figure in the Jura region. The native of Montigny-lès-Arsures indeed has more than 25 years of winemaking experience. After being the right-hand man of Stéphane Tissot, he managed the Château de Chavannes and then took care of the wines at the Caveau de la Reine Jeanne. A fine resume that only lacked one line: one with his name. This was achieved in 2015, the year he began to cultivate his 17 hectares of vineyards on his own. The conversion to organic farming is underway and only aligns with the principles already ingrained in the work done at the estate: indigenous yeasts, minimal interventionism, etc. The wines produced wonderfully express the richness of the Jura terroirs and Jérôme's exceptional winemaking talent.
