The wine: This magnificent vin jaune from Jérôme Arnoux was aged in oak barrels under a yeast veil for 6 years and 3 months. The result? A little bomb delivering delicious oxidative aromas: curry, walnut, hazelnut, and almond can be detected on the palate. Nevertheless, the aromatic palette of this cuvée is not limited to these delicious yet typical markers of vin jaune. You can also enjoy during tasting some warm spicy notes such as cinnamon, clove, vanilla, and pepper. The whole is supported by a beautiful buttery texture and will pair divinely well with poultry with morels, aged Comté, exotic cuisine, or blue cheeses. Unique, enchanting, and with incredible aging potential!

The estate: Jérôme Arnoux is a well-known figure in the Jura region. The native of Montigny-lès-Arsures has over 25 years of winemaking experience. After being the right-hand man of Stéphane Tissot, he managed the Château de Chavannes and then took care of the wines at the Caveau de la Reine Jeanne. An impressive résumé that was missing just one line: his own. That has been accomplished since 2015, the year he began cultivating his 17 hectares of vines independently. The conversion to organic farming is underway and simply aligns with the principles already established in the work at the estate: indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention, etc. The wines produced perfectly express the richness of the Jura terroirs and Jérôme's exceptional winemaking talent.
