The wine : This lovely Pinot Noir comes from a clay-limestone terroir expressing a lot of finesse. The nose and palate develop on a beautiful fruitiness typical of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits with its notes of raspberry, blackberry, redcurrant, and strawberry. The tannins are light and the whole offers a charming and easy-drinking aromatic profile. A true Burgundian pleasure, perfect as an aperitif, with a charcuterie board, or as a main course accompanied by a  fine white meat!

The estate : Located in Marey-lès-Fussey, a few kilometers from Nuits-Saint-Georges, the Thevenot Le Brun estate is a family property now in the hands of the 5th generation, represented by Nicolas, who has been at the helm since 2009. The Thevenot family now owns 30 hectares, mainly located in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, and its vineyard is certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value). The terroirs cultivated are clay-limestone and the range of wines offered enjoys a very fine level in both white and red, doing honor to the region.
