The wine: Clos du Vignon La Cabotte is a Pinot Noir of great class vinified by Nicolas Thevenot Le Brun. Fine and concentrated, elegant notes of cherry, strawberry and raspberry give a very fragrant set. The whole is completed by a delicate oaky touch bringing a beautiful general complexity. If it is appreciable now, you can also let this bottle improve for several years in the cellar without any problem. A favorite and a very fine example of what Hautes-Côtes de Nuits has to offer!

The estate: Located in Marey-lès-Fussey a few kilometers from Nuits-Saint-Georges, the domaine Thevenot Le Brun is a family property today in the hands of the 5th generation, represented by Nicolas who has taken over the reins since 2009. The Thevenot family now has 30 hectares, mainly located in Hautes Côtes de Nuits and its vineyard is HVE 3 (High Environmental Value) certified. The terroirs exploited are clay-limestone and the range of wines offered is of a very good standard in both white and red and is a credit to the region.
