The wine : The cuvée Terre de Maimbray blanc is a Sancerre favorite with great aromatic depth. Lively and perfectly balanced, this delicious Sauvignon develops on expressive fruity notes of peach, pear, apricot, citrus, and gooseberry. A very elegant minerality also comes through, accompanied by a finish evoking a certain exoticism (lychee, mango). A magnificent bottle that won us over and will pair ideally with seafood, fish, and salads!

The estate : Located in Maimbray, northwest of the lovely village of Sancerre, the Pascal and Nicolas Reverdy estate is one of the best producers in the appellation. Since 1985, Pascal Reverdy has been at the head of the estate. Joined by his brother in 1993, who tragically passed away in 2007, his shares then went to his wife Sophie. Today, Pascal's children, Victorien and Benjamin, are also part of the adventure. The family owns 17 hectares (12 of Sauvignon and 5 of Pinot Noir) growing mainly on clay-limestone soils here called "terres blanches." The wines produced are of great precision and honor the region with pure, precise, and elegant aromatics. The range is flawless and the concept of family know-how takes on its full meaning here, vintage after vintage. Discover their outstanding cuvées and experience the best that Sancerre has to offer!
