The wine : The cuvée Les Anges lots comes from old Sauvignon vines with an average age of 65 years. Thanks to this exceptional plant material, the Reverdy family offers here a sublime Sancerre endowed with a rich aromatic concentration. Notes of ripe citrus fruits as well as of peach, pear, and mango can be perceived on the palate, accompanied by a great minerality. Thanks to its aging in wooden vats, the texture is silky and perfectly supports the whole.A cuvée intended for the table and which will pair sublimely with foie gras, scallops, or even fish in sauce.A real delight!

The estate : Located in Maimbray, to the northwest of the beautiful village of Sancerre, the Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy estate is one of the best producers in the appellation.Since 1985, Pascal Reverdy has been at the head of the estate. Joined by his brother in 1993, the latter tragically passed away in 2007, with his shares then going to his wife Sophie. Today, Pascal's children, Victorien and Benjamin, are also part of the adventure. The family owns 17 hectares (12 of Sauvignon and 5 of Pinot Noir), mostly on  clay-limestone terroirs here called "terres blanches." The wines produced are of great precision and honor the region with pure, precise, and elegant aromatics. The range is flawless, and the concept of family know-how truly takes on its full meaning here, vintage after vintage.
