The wine : The cuvée Les Galets from Domaine des Hauts Châssis is a delicious terroir wine perfectly embodying this brilliant appellation that is Crozes-Hermitage. Featuring seductive notes of dark fruits (cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, plum) as well as very fine tannins, this beautiful bottle also offers aromas of white pepper and dried herbs (rosemary, thyme) that are a delight during tasting. Various pairings are possible here, such as with a charcuterie board, chicken with baby potatoes, or a beautiful rib of beef. A real favorite!

The estate : The Domaine des Hauts Châssis  is a 17-hectare estate located in the heart of the eponymous locality, itself situated in the south of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. The terroir here is mainly composed of rolled pebbles and the harvest is always done by hand. The passionate and warm Franck Faugier took over the family estate in 1998 and withdrew it from the cooperative system to produce his first vintage in 2003. Since 2017, all wines have been certified organic. These wines express themselves through fruit, spices, and always with freshness and elegance. An estate still too little known and well worth discovering!
