Keywords : Elegant fruitiness / Toasted bread / Indulgence
The wine : Coming from two plots facing due south, which favor the beautiful ripeness of the harvested grapes, this elegant Savigny-Lès-Beaune expresses a concentrated and indulgent fruitiness thanks to juicy notes of morello cherry and blackberry. A floral touch is also present (violet) and its 18 months of aging in barrels gives it a lovely overall complexity thanks to delicious notes of toasted bread. A beautiful Pinot Noir offering smoothness and refinement!

The estate : Founded in 2009 by Olivier Decelle (Mas Amiel in Languedoc, Vignoble de Boisseyt in the Rhône, Château Jean-Faure in Saint-Émilion) and Pierre-Jean Villa (famous winemaker from the north of the Rhône Valley), the estate was initially called Decelle-Villa. Following the latter's departure in 2020, the business changed its name to Decelle & Fils. Based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the house now has 7 hectares cultivated organically on the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The twenty or so cuvées produced across the different appellations perfectly express the diversity of character of Burgundy's terroirs and climates. Discover this young estate destined to become one of the greatest in Burgundy!
