The wine : "Vau Renou" is certainly one of the finest cuvées of the Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation. Sourced from two plots, one with tuffeau (limestone) soil, the other with green clay and flint terroir, this delicious Cabernet Franc offers a round and smooth texture on the palate thanks to meticulous aging for over two years, partly in barrels but also in demi-muids and amphorae. The aromatic profile develops notes of red and black fruits (cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry), accompanied by a hint of pepper, all supported by silky tannins. Discover this great Loire wine with its magnificent length ! Wonderful pairings with grilled meats, charcuterie, and matured cheeses.
