The wine : "Vau Renou" is certainly one of the finest vintages of the Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation. Coming from two plots, one with tuffeau soil (limestone), the other with a green clay and flint terroir, this delicious Cabernet-franc offers a round and smooth body on the palate, thanks to a careful two-year aging, carried out partly in barrels but also in demi-muids and amphorae. The aromas evolve on red and black fruits (cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry), accompanied by a touch of pepper, all carried by silky tannins. Discover this great Loire wine with a magnificent length ! Wonderful pairings with grilled meats, cold cuts and mature cheeses.
