The wine : The Demoiselle cuvée from Domaine Laballe is a delicious sweet wine made from the indulgent Gros Manseng grape variety. Exotic fruit aromas (pineapple, mango, passion fruit) blend here with delightful notes of pear, apricot, and peach. The sugar is very well balanced, bringing a lot of pleasure during tasting but never becoming heavy. A lovely bottle and an excellent value for money that will perfectly accompany your aperitifs, exotic or spicy cuisines, as well as your desserts!

The estatePurchased in 1820 by Jean-Dominique Laudet, Château Laballe was initially best known for its excellent production of Armagnacs. However, a few generations later, the estate opened up to the world of wine thanks to Noël Laudet in the 1970s. Today, the vineyard covers 17 hectares and has been managed since 2007 by the 8th generation, represented by Cyril, accompanied by his wife Julie. The terroir here is very atypical and the vines plunge into what are called "sables fauves", well known in Bas-Armagnac where they are the preferred soils. The estate was the first to produce wines on this terroir, bringing minerality and freshness to the wines and spirits produced. A beautiful estate full of history that is an absolute must-discover!
