The wine : Château Brane-Cantenac is one of the finest references of the Margaux appellation. Silky and complex, this 2nd Grand Cru Classé displays all its elegance through elegant fruity aromas (cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry), accompanied by a very noble oakiness, giving the whole notes of tobacco, vanilla, and cedar. The texture is smooth and the tannins are particularly harmonious, allowing this nectar to be enjoyed young as well as after several years of aging. A great wine in every sense of the word!

The estate : The history of Château Brane-Cantenac began in the 18th century, when Baron Hector de Branecompletely restructured the estate, which earned it the classification of Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Since 1925, the Lurton family has owned the property. At the head of a terroir of rare richness, Henri Lurton now manages 75 hectares, mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, accompanied by Merlot and a touch of Cabernet Franc. The wines produced are distinguished, aromatic, complex, and of great finesse, typical of the Margaux appellation.
