If the Château du Breuil is primarily a historic house of Calvados high-end, the entity has recently diversified under the impetus of new French owners who arrived in April 2020. The house is no longer limited to Calvados alone but also produces magnificent whiskies and also imports rums to finish their aging in their Normandy cellar. The company has therefore recently changed its name to become La Spiriterie Française thus better representing their new field of action. And what a success! While the Calvados, well known to enthusiasts, are still of exemplary level, their whiskies have a unique identity, while the Rum Explorer range is built in partnership with distilleries from the four corners of the world but strictly selected and offering spirits of great finesse.
