The IGP Cévennes (formerly Vin de Pays des Cévennes) is the northernmost appellation of Languedoc, located in the North Nimes. Evolving from schistous soils, it covers 13,000 hectares and enjoys a sunny Mediterranean climate. Nevertheless, the altitude and the intense rainfall bring a beautiful aromatic intensity and preserve the liveliness of the wines. The key grape varieties in reds are merlot, cabernet-sauvignon, syrah, grenache and cinsault. In white, grenache blanc, clairette, sauvignon, viognier and chardonnay represent most of the production. The surrounding nature here is a magnificent setting for the vines. Discover this too often overlooked IGP offering magnificent value for money, as is the case here with the Perdrix-Lasouche estate.
