Mainly known for its fine production of Armagnac, Château Laballe actually began producing wine as early as the 1970s. Today covering 17 hectares and managed since 2007 by Cyril Laudet (the 8th generation of the family) and his wife Julie, the estate produces quality cuvées with excellent value for money. The terroir here is sandy, typical of the soils of Bas-Armagnac, and many grape varieties coexist in the vineyard, such as Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Colombard, Sauvignon, and also Ugni Blanc for the white wines.
