Purchase AOC Listrac-Médoc wines

With 700 hectares, AOC Listrac-Médoc is the smallest of Médoc. Created in 1957, it is located inland and touches the appellation Moulis-en-Médoc. Listrac-Médoc also has prestigious neighbors Margaux further south and Saint-Julien to the north. The terroirs here are made up of gravel but also clay-limestone and allow wines to be expressed with more freshness than in the surrounding AOCs. The Merlot is predominant here, adapting particularly well to this type of soil, and is accompanied by the usual Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet-Franc . A number of Crus Bourgeois (such as Château Saransot-Dupré) are present in the area, rewarding the work of the region's winegrowers as well as the great quality of their wines.
