Domaine des Pothiers

The Domaine des Pothiers is located in Villemontais, at the heart of the Côte Roannaise, appellation in the Loire Valley. Managed by Romain Paire, it covers around 23 hectares of vineyards cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming methods. The estate is especially renowned for its wines made from Gamay Saint-Romain, the region’s signature grape variety, which Romain vinifies with precision to preserve freshness, fruit, and the unique character of the terroir. The range includes both red and white wines, all authentic, approachable, and deeply rooted in their terroir.
