The Spirit: Distilled by Beenleigh Artisan Distillers in Brisbane, Australia, this delicious rum is a very precise having been matured for 5 years minimum in ex-bourbon barrels. The goal: to give it a gourmet substance as well as a beautiful amplitude in the mouth. Then, in order to once again enrich the aromatics, refining in American oak barrels that contained Cognac is carried out in Normandye, within the Château du Breuil itself. No sweeteners or colorants are added to achieve a makeup-free product with pretty tone. The mouth is generous, soft and develops on notes of cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla and honey. A nice freshness is also present on the finish. An excellent amber rum that will surprise you with its typicality and unique sweetness!

The House : Built in the early 16th century, the Château du Breuil is a place steeped in history. Indeed, since the French Revolution, several owners have succeeded one another and different economic activities have taken over the place: flax spinning, cheese factory, chocolate factory, cider factory, etc. Nevertheless, it is indeed a Calvados distillery that has occupied the premises since 1954. The property now has 42 hectares on which more than 800 varieties of apples grow (sweet, bitter, bittersweet, tart). After having belonged to the Swiss Diwisa group for around thirty years, the company returned to the French flag in April 2020 and extended its activity to other spirits: whiskeys (distilled on site) and rums (refined on site) now part of the range and are of a superb standard. Today, the influence of the brand is international and does honor to French know-how.
