The spirit : Distilled by Beenleigh Artisan Distillers in Brisbane, Australia, this delicious rum is a very precise blend that has been aged for at least 5 years in ex-Bourbon casks. The goal: to bring it an indulgent texture as well as great fullness on the palate. Then, to further enrich the aromatic profile, a finishing in American oak casks that previously contained Cognac is carried out in Normandy, within the very walls of Château du Breuil. No sweetener or coloring is added to obtain an unadulterated product offering lovely liveliness. The palate is generous, smooth and develops notes of cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, and honey. A nice freshness is also present on the finish. An excellent amber rum that will surprise you with its character and unique smoothness!

The brand : Built at the beginning of the 16th century, the Château du Breuil is a place steeped in history. Indeed, since the French Revolution, several owners have succeeded one another and various economic activities have taken place here: linen spinning mill, cheese factory, chocolate factory, cider house, etc. Nevertheless, it has been a Calvados distillery since 1954. The estate now covers 42 hectares, where more than 800 varieties of apples (sweet, bitter, bittersweet, tart) are grown. After belonging to the Swiss group Diwisa for about thirty years, the company returned to French ownership in April 2020 and expanded its activity to other spirits: whiskies (distilled on site) and rums (aged on site) are now part of the range and are of superb quality. Today, the brand's reputation is international and does honor to French know-how.
