The spirit : "El Pasador de Oro" becomes Pura Vida ! The famous Costa Rican motto perfectly illustrates the change of direction of the brand which now establishes and controls all of its rum production in Costa Rica. This delicious ron undergoes a prolonged aging in old Bourbon barrels, completed by a finish in old Cognac tuns, giving it a beautiful aromatic intensity. In tasting, this blend of pure juice (or agricultural) rums, cane honey and molasses rums reveals an unctuous body and a very well-measured sweetness. Aromas of banana and roasted pineapple appear on the palate, accompanied by a spicy touch (vanilla, cinnamon, pepper) and a totally melted woodiness. A superb exotic length definitely convinces us. Perfect for demanding enthusiasts !
