The spirit : "El Pasador de Oro" becomes Pura Vida! The famous Costa Rican motto perfectly illustrates the brand's new direction, as it now establishes and controls all its rum production in Costa Rica. This delicious Ron XO undergoes extended aging in former Bourbon casks, complemented by a finishing period in old Cognac vats, giving it a beautiful aromatic intensity. On tasting, this blend of pure cane juice (or agricole) rums, cane honey, and molasses reveals a smooth texture, a very well-balanced sweetness, and a lovely consensus. Notes of banana and flambéed pineapple appear on the palate, accompanied by a spicy touch (vanilla, cinnamon, pepper) as well as a very distinguished mellow oakiness. A superb exotic length finally wins us over. Perfect for demanding enthusiasts!
