The wine : The Roble cuvée is a great classic that perfectly expresses the characteristics of the Spanish appellation Ribera del Duero. Composed of 100% Tempranillo grape, this delicious wine releases powerful aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, cherry, blackberry), a lovely oakiness bringing a hint of vanilla as well as delicious spices (pepper, cinnamon). Its generous and intense body will pair perfectly with red meat!

The estate :  Protos is a major historical entity in Spanish winemaking. Created in 1927 under the name "Ribera del Duero" (at a time when the appellation did not yet exist), the company is the result of the union of 11 Spanish winegrowers wishing to reveal to the world the quality of their terroirs.  In 1982, when the DO Ribera del Duero was founded, the estate then gave it its name and changed its own to  "Protos", meaning "First" in Greek. Today, the estate covers 1,400 hectares and the brand is exported all over the world. Its generous and authentic wines are recognized and praised by enthusiasts and professionals.
