The estate : Founded in 2005 by the Faro family, the Pietradolce estate is located in Solicchiata, on the northern slope of Etna. Today, it stands as a leading reference for Sicilian wines. The vineyard covers approximately 30 hectares between 650 and 950 meters in altitude, and the vines, some of which are very old, take root here in volcanic soils rich in ash and basalt. This high-altitude terroir, characterized by significant temperature variations, allows for the production of wines that are both fresh, precise, and intensely mineral. The estate's philosophy is based on a respectful approach to living organisms, with minimal intervention winemaking and natural fermentations. Pietradolce thus produces elegant and authentic wines, true reflections of the energy and uniqueness of Etna.
