The wine : A vast Piedmontese appellation, the Langhe DOC surrounds and encompasses the very noble vineyards of Barbaresco and Barolo. The "Ël Sartù" cuvée is, moreover, very close to the class of a Barolo and is, as such, one of the finest wines we have had the opportunity to taste from this appellation. Notes of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry perfume a palate of great class, complemented by floral aromas (violet, rose) as well as a spicy touch (pepper, licorice). On the palate, the tannins are present but ripe, recalling the structure of the iconic grape variety Nebbiolo. A wine of great class that will pair divinely well with white and red meats or even a mushroom risotto. Impossible to be disappointed!

The estate : The vineyard of Armando Parusso consists of 25 hectares located between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont, Italy. The love of the vine has run through the veins of the family for 4 generations, whose sole aim is the production of great terroir wines that are elegant and refined. Harvesting at the estate is done by hand and minimal intervention is applied during vinification in order to bring out the uniqueness of each plot of the property.
