The wine  : Vvast Piedmontese appellation, the DOC Langhe surrounds and encompasses the very noble vineyards of Barbaresco and Barolo. The "Ël Sartù" vintage is very close to the class of a Barolo and is, as such, one of the most beautiful wines which we have been given to taste on this appellation. Notes of cherry, strawberry and raspberry perfume a palate of great class, and are complemented by floral aromas (violet, pink) as well as by a spicy touch (pepper, liquorice). On the palate, the tannins are present but ripe, recalling the structure of the iconic grape variety Nebbiolo . A wine of great elegance that will combine divinely well with white and red meats or even a mushroom risotto. Impossible to be disappointed!

The estate:  The vineyard of Armando Parusso is composed of 25 hectares located between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont, Italy. Love of the vine  has been flowing since 4 generations in the veins of the family whose sole purpose is  the production of great, elegant and refined terroir wines. The harvests at the estate are manual and minimal intervention is applied during winemaking in order to bring out the uniqueness of each plot of the property. The Parusso family takes great care of their vines and this is felt when tasting all their  wines, the latter presenting very high levels of finesse  and precision.
