The wine: By tasting this delicious Barolo, you will certainly understand why Armando Parusso is a great winemaking figure from Piedmont! Harvested by hand and aged for 18 months in oak barrels, this succulent Nebbiolo is of great precision. Endowed with a beautiful liveliness specific to this grape variety as well as the local climate, this Grand Vin presents very elegant aromas of plum and red fruit jam delicately blending with spicy notes (clove, pepper, vanilla). The latter are completed by a delicious evolution tending towards undergrowth and leather while the whole is structured by tannins very well worked as well as a warm alcohol. A favorite vintage of great complexity reflecting the perfect knowledge of the estate's terroirs by its owner!

The estate: The vineyard of Armando Parusso is made up of 25 hectares located between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont in Italy. The love of the vine has flowed for 4 generations in the veins of the family whose sole aim is to produce great, elegant and refined local wines. The harvest at the estate is manual and minimal intervention is applied during vinification in order to bring out the uniqueness of each plot of the property. The Parusso family takes very great care of their vines and this is felt when tasting all their wines, the latter presenting very high levels of finesse and precision.
