Michel Couvreur - Blended Whisky - The Unique

Keywords : Delicate / Floral / Generous

The spirit : The Unique reveals the most delicate and accessible side of the Michel Couvreur range. Blending grain and malt whiskies, this cuvée, aged for four years in casks, stands out for its light, floral, and generous profile. The nose opens with notes of white fruits, fresh almond and vanilla, complemented by a subtle iodized touch. The palate, lively on the attack, gradually becomes rounder and smoother, with a controlled sweetness. Its fresh and harmonious finish makes it a whisky particularly pleasant as an aperitif, served slightly chilled, but also an excellent introduction to the world of the house. A wonderful favorite to discover!

The house : Located in Bouze-lès-Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy, the Michel Couvreur house upholds a unique approach to whisky, in which maturation plays a decisive role. Carefully selected distillates are refined in cellars carved into the rock, in contact with casks chosen for their ability to enrich aromas and texture. Old Sherry casks, seasoned wood, and prolonged maturation thus shape whiskies with a true personality. Each cuvée has its own balance, from delicate freshness to the most generous depth, while maintaining the precision and elegance characteristic of this historic whisky French house.
