The wine : The estate Le Calendre delights us here with this beautiful Valpolicella full of finesse. The nose is very charming and releases from the glass  sweet aromas of cherry, raspberry as well as a touch of violet and pepper. The palate matches, offering us a very pure fruitiness and an intense concentration. A light oakiness highlights a delicate whole, with little tannin and very fragrant character. An excellent wine with  great presence that will perfectly accompany charcuterie, red meats, and other fine Italian dishes.

The estate : The estate Le Calendre is a family-run estate with 4 hectares located in the commune of  San Pietro in Cariano, north of Verona and in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico DOC. Here, the vines are cultivated using a pergola system that gives the grapes more light and wind, thus promoting ripeness and helping to prevent certain diseases. At the estate, everything is done by hand and every detail matters, from the care given to the vines throughout the year to the precision of every gesture during vinification. Although not officially certified, the cultivation methods and winemaking techniques used are similar to organic farming. Discover this small estate producing wines of great finesse, proudly representing the region and  its grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara.
