IN CONVERSION TO ORGANIC FARMING
Keywords: Indulgent / Oaky / Round
The wine: Aged in oak barrels, this beautiful Chardonnay from the "Chantemerle" old vines plot expresses a generous character full of roundness. Buttery and vanilla notes blend harmoniously with aromas of peach, citrus, dried fruits (hazelnut), as well as a touch of sweet spices. An almost Burgundian character seems to emerge from this beautiful, universally appealing bottle and a great success! A bottle that stands on its own but will show its best at the table with grilled fish, white meat, or a selection of cheeses. Divine!

The estate: Jérôme Arnoux is a well-known figure in the Jura region. The native of Montigny-lès-Arsures has over 25 years of winemaking experience. After being the right-hand man of Stéphane Tissot, he managed the Château de Chavannes and then took care of the wines at the Caveau de la Reine Jeanne. An impressive résumé that was missing just one line: his own. This became a reality in 2015, when he began cultivating his 17 hectares of vines independently. The conversion to organic farming is underway and aligns perfectly with the principles already established in the work at the estate: indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention, etc. The wines produced wonderfully express the richness of the Jura terroirs and Jérôme's exceptional winemaking talent.
