IN CONVERSION TO ORGANIC FARMING
Keywords : Fruity / Concentration / Character
The wine : Exception is a beautiful Trousseau, perfectly vinified by Jérôme Arnoux, that illustrates wonderfully the delicious character of Jura wines! Its elegant pale color instantly catches the eye, while charming fruity aromas reach the nose. On the palate, a beautiful concentration is expressed and delicately perfumed notes of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) are accompanied by subtle spices (pepper). This is a cuvée to open as an aperitif with charcuterie, at the table paired with white meat, or with a selection of cheeses. It’s mouthwatering!

The estate: Jérôme Arnoux is a well-known figure in the Jura region. The native of Montigny-lès-Arsures has over 25 years of winemaking experience. After being the right-hand man of Stéphane Tissot, he managed the Château de Chavannes and then took care of the wines at the Caveau de la Reine Jeanne. An impressive résumé that was missing just one line: his own. This became a reality in 2015, when he began cultivating his 17 hectares of vines independently. The conversion to organic farming is underway and aligns perfectly with the principles already established in the work at the estate: indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention, etc. The wines produced wonderfully express the richness of the Jura terroirs and Jérôme’s exceptional winemaking talent.
