The estate :  The estate Georges Descombes is a major reference in artisanal and natural Beaujolais. Inspired by the pioneering spirit of his neighbor and friend Marcel Lapierre, Georges Descombes is part of the generation that brought Gamay back to the forefront thanks to precise, sincere, and vibrant wines.Without seeking certification, the estate works its 17 hectares of vines using organic practices: no unnecessary additives, manual harvesting, optimal ripeness, and a true philosophy of letting nature take its course. In the cellar, winemaking is gentle, with very little sulfite used, to preserve the fruit and energy of the grape. The result: deep yet easy-drinking cuvées, indulgentes but airy, where all the granitic charm of Beaujolais can be found. Whether it is Brouilly, Morgon, Régnié, or Chiroubles, Descombes wines are sought after for their brilliance, freshness, and ability to provide immediate pleasure... while gaining depth with a few years in the bottle.
