The wine: The Pinot Beurot (or Pinot Gris) is rare in Burgundy. However, it is capable of very beautiful things as proven by this cuvée in AOC Coteaux Bourguignons from the Thevenot Le Brun estate! Aged for 9 months in new barrels, this wine expresses richness and fullness on the palate, carried by charming notes of butter, vanilla and oak as well as a fruitiness evolving on peach and pear. A lovely discovery which will go wonderfully with poultry, foie gras and which can also be enjoyed as an aperitif!

The estate: Located in Marey-lès-Fussey in a few kilometers from Nuits-Saint-Georges, the estate Thevenot Le Brun is a family property today in the hands of the 5th generation, represented by Nicolas who has taken over the reins since 2009. The Thevenot family now has 30 hectares, mainly located in Hautes Côtes de Nuits and its vineyard is certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value). The terroirs exploited are clay-limestone and the range of wines offered is of a very good standard in both white and red and is a credit to the region.
