The wine : The Pinot Beurot (or Pinot Gris) is rare in Burgundy. However, it is capable of very fine things, as proven by this cuvée in AOC Coteaux Bourguignons from Domaine Thevenot Le Brun! Aged for 9 months in new barrels, this wine expresses richness and amplitude on the palate, carried by charming notes of butter, vanilla, a delicious oakiness as well as fruitiness evolving towards pear and peach. A lovely discovery that will pair wonderfully with poultry, foie gras, and can also be perfectly enjoyed as an aperitif!

The estate : Located in Marey-lès-Fussey, a few kilometers from Nuits-Saint-Georges, the Thevenot Le Brun estate is a family property now in the hands of the 5th generation, represented by Nicolas, who has been at the helm since 2009. The Thevenot family now owns 30 hectares, mainly located in Hautes Côtes de Nuits, and their vineyard is certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value). The terroirs are clay-limestone and the range of wines offered enjoys a very fine level in both white and red, doing honor to the region.
