The wine: Located mid-slope on the border between Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, this 1er Cru des Charmes gives the best of itself in this cuvée from the Michelot family. The balance is charming between ripe citrus fruits, white fruits, hazelnut, vanilla and a delicious buttery substance. A nectar with delicious length which nevertheless maintains good digestibility thanks to fine mineral notes. A very high level Meursault!

The estate: Pfamily property for 6 generations now, the domaine Michelot comprises 19 hectares of which almost all of which is located in AOC Meursault. Today, Nicolas Mestre is at the head of this reference house with a large terroir of prestigious first growths. If all the wines are aged in oak barrels for approximately 1 year, few new barrels are used in order not to excessively mark the wines with the wood and to preserve t4179>beautiful balance with the fruit. The Mestre family offers us a range of great wines enjoying a very high level and great quality consistency.
