The estate : The family estate now known as Lamé Delisle Boucard was founded in 1869 by Pierre Guyot. His son-in-law, Jules Lamé, took advantage a few years later of the phylloxera crisis to develop the winegrowing business, being one of the first winemakers to plant vines with American rootstocks. Then, Lucien, Jules' son, married Yvonne Delisle in 1938 and from 1947, the couple decided to bottle all their production on site, a turning point in the estate's history. The name of the estate was then decided by combining the surnames of the two lovers: Lamé Delisle. Finally, it was in 1965, when their daughter Maryvonne married René Boucard that the estate took its final name. Today, the 5th generation (Philippe and Stéphanie) is at work and oversees the 43 hectares of the property, producing excellent cuvées in AOC Bourgueil. Feel free to visit the estate, the family is always welcoming!
