The wine : For once, this Meursault 1er Cru Santenots from Domaine Jacques Prieur is an absolute success. Coming from a plot with clay-limestone soils facing East, this terroir allows for harvesting grapes at perfect ripeness and offers very graceful balances. A long aging of 19 months in barrels brings here an indulgent roundness with notes of butter, brioche and vanilla as well as toasted aromas, balancing the saline minerality that runs through this exceptional bottle.
