The wine: Once is not customary, this 1er Cru Meursault Santenots from Domaine Jacques Prieur is an absolute success. Coming from a plot with clay-limestone soils exposed to the East, this terroir allows grapes to be harvested at perfect maturity and to offer very graceful balances. A long aging of 19 months in barrels brings here a gourmet roundness with notes of butter, brioche and vanilla as well as toasted aromas, balancing the saline minerality which runs through this exceptional bottle. A top-flight vintage, totally mastered and capable of long aging!
