The wine : This magnificent Grand Cru Corton-Bressandes from Maison Prieur delights with its velvety texture and its extremely graceful body on the palate! Located on the Grands Crus hill of Corton, the estate's plot benefits from stony clay-limestone soils and a south-east orientation that promotes excellent ripeness. On the palate, the fruit is intense and deep, evolving into smooth notes of black cherry and blackberry. These are complemented by a harmonious spicy touch (pepper, clove, vanilla). In a few years, tertiary notes (humus, earth, leather) will appear, completing a grandiose aromatic palette. A Pinot Noir for cellaring and of the highest caliber for special occasions!

The estate : Installed in the commune of Meursault since the 19th century, the Jacques Prieur estate boasts an exceptional heritage of vines comprising 21 hectares (11 ha of Pinot Noir and 10 ha of Chardonnay). The brand notably owns magnificent plots on the Grands Crus Musigny, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Corton-Charlemagne, Clos de Vougeot, and Montrachet. Fourteen prestigious Premiers Crus as well as the splendid Clos de Mazeray monopole complete the panorama. While the estate's history is long and rich, it is the Labruyère family who, for over 30 years and still supported by the Prieur family, continue to enhance this Burgundian wine jewel.
