The wine: Simply one of the best crémants in the Alsatian region! This Brut Nature indeed offers great purity and delicious freshness provided by a perfectly controlled blend as well as by a absence of dosage made possible thanks to the excellent maturity of the harvested grapes. The aroma develops on fine notes of white flowers (honeysuckle, hawthorn) and fruits (citrus fruits, green apple, peach, underlined by a light but delicious aspect toasted An ideal sparkling wine as an aperitif and which will also pair wonderfully with fish and seafood!

The estate: Located in Wettolsheim near Colmar and founded in 1985 by Geneviève Buecher and François Barmès by uniting their family vines, the domaine Barmès-Buecher is today one of the jewels of wine-growing Alsace. The conversion to biodynamics took place in 1998 and it is their children Maxime (viticulture and winemaking) and Sophie (communication and sales) who today mainly take care of the 18 hectare property. 95% planted in white (mainly Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris), and growing on a large mosaic of terroirs specific to Alsace (clay-limestone, marl-sandstone, granite etc.), the family vineyard produces very pure and with good aging Capacity, particularly for all Grands Crus. The yeasts are obviously indigenous and very low doses of sulphites are used in winemaking.
