The estate: Since 1890, the Illuminati family cultivates vines in the Abruzzo region. It all started with Nicola Illuminati. Then, in the 1950s, Dino Illuminati decided to produce its own wine in order to better promote its terroirs. Today it is Stefano, accompanied by his brother Lorenzo, who are at the head of the operation based in Controguerra. Covering 130 hectares located at an altitude of 320 meters, their vineyard plots are located on the hills of the region, from where you can see the Adriatic Sea.
