The estate : Since 1890, the Illuminati family has been cultivating vines in the Abruzzo region. It all began with Nicola Illuminati.Then, in the 1950s, Dino Illuminati decided to produce his own wine in order to better showcase his terroirs. Today, it is Stefano, accompanied by his brother Lorenzo, who are at the head of the estate based in  Controguerra. Covering 130 hectares located at an altitude of 320 meters, their vineyard plots are situated on the hills of the region, from where you can see the Adriatic Sea.
