The brand : Built at the beginning of the 16th century, the Château du Breuil is a place steeped in history. Since the French Revolution, several owners have succeeded one another and various economic activities have taken place here: flax spinning, cheese making, chocolate making, cider production, etc. However, it has been a Calvados distillery that has occupied the site since 1954. The estate now covers 42 hectares, where more than 800 varieties of apples (sweet, bitter, bittersweet, tart) are grown. After being owned by the Swiss group Diwisa for about thirty years, the company returned to French ownership in April 2020 and expanded its activity to other spirits: whiskies (distilled on site) and rums (aged on site) are now part of the range and are of outstanding quality. Today, the brand enjoys international recognition and is a testament to French expertise.
