The estate : The two brothers Charles-Henry and Emmanuel Fourny have been at the head of the Veuve Fourny estate since 1993. They represent the 5th family generation of this superb estate, whose vines are mainly located in Vertus (Côte des Blancs). The soils are limestone, chalky, and the winemaking is very non-interventionist (indigenous yeasts, low dosages only carried out with sugar from grapes, etc.). The grape variety is made up of more than 90% Chardonnay and the vineyard has an average age of about 40-45 years. The estate produces terroir Champagnes offering beautiful roundness and softness while maintaining superb balance and great precision.
