The wine: The vintage Les Quatre Terroirs from the Pertois-Moriset estate is a favorite blanc de blancs champagne from the blend of grapes from 4 villages classified Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs , a region where we find the most beautiful chardonnays of the Champagne vineyards. The balance is with a precision that borders on perfection between roundness, gourmandise and elegance. aromas of butter, brioche and hazelnut mingle with notes of ripe fruit (peach, pear) to finish with a finish evoking white flowers . The bubble is great finesse and transports us through a great moment of tasting. Simply superb!

The estate: The Pertois-Moriset estate is located in Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the very heart of the Côte des Blancs. Created by Yves Pertois and Janine Moriset in 1951, the family estate is today managed by Cécile, their granddaughter, alongside her husband Vincent. With a little more than 20 hectares, the vineyard operates on two distinct terroirs: the Côtes des Blancs, where all of the vines are dedicated to Chardonnay, as well as the Coteaux Sézannais, where Pinot noir is the majority (60% ). The couple creates champagnes expressing freshness, elegance and indulgence. The balance of the wines is sumptuous, in particular thanks to the perfect understanding of their terroirs as well as very fair low dosages. A favorite area that you owe it to yourself to discover (or rediscover)!
