Wine: Unison from Franck Bonville is a magnificent Champagne characterizing the great richness and purity of the Chardonnays from the Grand Cru village of Avize within the Côte des Blancs. A greedy and consensual roundness brings here buttery and brioche notes while deliciously blending with fruity notes of citrus fruits, green apple, but tender especially towards apricot and pear. Maturity and minerality work here "in unison" for our greatest pleasure as gourmets and constitute the backbone of this great Blanc de blancs!

The estate: The winemaking history of the Bonville siblings dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when Alfred Bonville bought his first plots in 1900. From the 1930s, the adventure took a more serious turn and the family bought a winegrowers' house in Avize, a few kilometers south of Epernay. Franck Bonville then joined his father at the estate. The latter will successfully develop the operation and will notably launch the first bottles with the Bonville name in 1945. Then, it is his son, Gilles, who will take over in the 1970s. For more than 20 years, he will modernize the property and will renovate the winery. Finally, since 1996, it is Olivier Bonville, son of Gilles, who has run the business and therefore proudly represents the 5th generation of Bonvilles. Today, the Champagnes Franck Bonville, it's 15 hectares (exclusively Chardonnay), all located in the Côte des Blancs and within 3 villages classified Grand Cru: Avize, Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger. The style of the house is focused on the search for minerality and freshness, making the estate a magnificent example of the expression of Chardonnay in Champagne.
