Purchase of Ile de Beauté PGI wines

Created in 1982 under the name Vin de Pays de l'Île de Beauté then renamed IGP Île de Beauté in 2009, this protected geographical indication makes it possible to produce red, white and rosé wines throughout Corsica. However, most of the production comes from the east coast of the island, from Bastia to Solenzara. The Niellucciu and Sciacarellu grape varieties are the majority for the reds while the Vermentino is the main variety in white, generally imparting a beautiful freshness as well as floral aromas to the wines.
