Buy AOC Mercurey wines

The Mercurey appellation is located within the Côte Chalonnaise and covers approximately 650 hectares of which 25% classified as Premier Cru. The AOC overwhelmingly produces red wines (more than 80%) although excellent white wines are also produced in its appellation area. The reds present aromas very greedy and fleshy while those coming from the best terroirs present more aromatic depth and a certain tannic presence. The Chardonnays often evolve in a delicious and quite round register although some plots bring out the minerality of their clay-limestone soil.
