The Coteaux Bourguignons appellation is quite recent since it was officially created in 2011. The latter covers 270 hectares and produces red and white wines in the four departments of Bourgogne. Red wines can be made from the usual pinot noir but also from gamay, something very rare in Burgundy. White wines can come from the Chardonnay grape variety but also from the Melon de Bourgogne, Aligoté, Pinot blanc or varieties. >pinot gris (called pinot beurot).
