Purchase AOC Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages wines

The AOC Beaujolais is the largest regional appellation within its eponymous region, covering nearly 4,000 hectares in 72 communes. Within this vineyard, 97% of production is dedicated to red wine, made exclusively from the Gamay grape variety. The 3% of white wines are produced with the grape variety Chardonnay. Several terroirs are present within the region: in the south, the soils are most often clay-limestone while in the north, the terroir is more sandy and granite. Finally the AOC Beaujolais-Villages promotes certain localities (38 villages), especially in the northern part of the vineyard, and rewards the most beautiful hillsides. The region's red wines are known for their magnificent fruity expressive while the whites can express minerality and roundness.
