AOC Saint-Véran

Located in the Mâconnais region, in the south of the Burgundy wine area, the Saint-Véran AOC covers almost 750 hectares and produces only white wines made from the Chardonnay grape variety. Bordering Pouilly-Fuissé, the appellation stretches across rather steep clay-limestone soils and offers cuvées with a generally round and generous profile, but often featuring a beautiful minerality that brings balance. It is also an area that offers excellent value for money for Burgundy wines, as is the case here with Domaine Bodillard.
