The Château Smith Haut Lafitte is located in the commune of Martillac within the Pessac-Léognan AOC. The Cathiard family has been managing the estate since 1990 and has elevated the domain to an absolute benchmark of the region in just two decades. The 80 hectares are cultivated with great care for the terroir, and the vinifications are of absolute precision. An in-house cooperage has even been integrated to control all stages of production! All  cuvées have been certified organic since the 2019 vintage, and while the estate's first wines are undoubtedly part of the Bordeaux elite, the second wines are of a quality that few estates can boast of achieving!
