The Crémant d'Alsace can be produced  on the 15,000 hectares of the Alsatian vineyard. It is a sparkling wine that can be composed of a single grape variety or a blend of several varieties, notably the Pinot Blanc (the most used), the Pinot Noir but also the Riesling, the Pinot Auxerrois or even the Chardonnay, without any constraint on proportions. Its production method is identical to that of champagne (referred to here as the traditional method). These delicious Alsatian bubbles are generally distinguished by their freshness and finesse of character.
