The estate: Winegrowers in Listrac since 1756, the Raymond family owns the Domaine Saransot-Dupré since 1875. The very pleasant and communicative Yves Raymond (5th generation) has been at the head of this beautiful Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since the end of the 1980s. The 17-hectare property is 90% planted in red and mostly Merlot. The soils are clay-limestone and the vinification is traditional (concrete vats then aging in barrels with a proportion of 25 to 30% new barrels). Yves Raymond creates elegant, fine wines with great aging potential. A beautiful quality estate offering wines at excellent value for money!
