The wine : The Laudet family offers us with its Sables fauves a very lovely aromatic white wine with an excellent quality-price ratio! Developing notes of yellow fruits (mirabelle plum), this beautiful wine also reveals delicious aromas of peach, apricot, and citrus fruits as well as an indulgent exotic touch (mango). A beautiful cuvée that stands on its own as an aperitif but will also pair perfectly at the table thanks to its delicate enveloping texture. Indulgent and 100% pleasure!

The estate : Purchased in 1820 by Jean-Dominique Laudet, Château Laballe was initially best known for its excellent Armagnac production. However, a few generations later, the estate opened up to the world of wine thanks to Noël Laudet in the 1970s. Today, the vineyard covers 17 hectares and has been managed since 2007 by the 8th generation, represented by Cyril, accompanied by his wife Julie. The terroir here is very atypical and the vines grow in what are called "sables fauves," well known in Bas-Armagnac as the preferred soils. The estate was the first to produce wines on this terroir, bringing minerality and freshness to the wines and spirits produced. A lovely estate full of history that is an absolute must-discover!
