The estate: The history of Château Brane-Cantenac began in the 18th century, when Baron Hector de Brane rcompletely restructured the property, which led to it being classified as Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Since 1925, the Lurton family has owned it. At the head of a terroir of rare richness, Henri Lurton now has 75 hectares mainly planted with Cabernet-Sauvignon, accompanied by Merlot and a touch of Cabernet-Franc. The wines produced are distinguished, aromatic, complex and of great finesse typical of the Margaux appellation.
