Key words: Silky / Finesse / Refined

The wine: Château Brane-Cantenac is one of the most beautiful references from the Margaux appellation. Silky and complex, this 2nd Grand Cru Classé deploys all its elegance through elegant fruity aromas (cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry), accompanied by a very noble oak, giving the whole notes of tobacco, vanilla and cedar. The body is dense and the tannins of this delicious 2014 vintage are now well rounded. A nectar that can be enjoyed now but also has good aging potential

The estate: The history of Château Brane-Cantenac began in the 18th century, when Baron Hector de Brane rcompletely destroyed the property, which earned it the status of Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Since 1925, it has been owned by the Lurton family. At the head of a terroir of rare richness, Henri Lurton today has 75 hectares mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, accompanied by Merlot and a touch of Cabernet Franc. The wines produced are distinguished, aromatic, complex and of great finesse typical of the Margaux appellation.
